November Blues... Literally!!!

Written By : Molleigh Mae

At a close second, blue has been my favorite color, after Yellow of course. Heading into fall, I've noticed this pattern of blue sticking around- and like every single shade of it. Starting with denim, we know it's a classic, let's not underestimate the classiness of denim-on-denim.

We've seen creators like Mary Ralph  Bradley, pulled a denim-on-denim style as a go for months on end. It doesn't have to be a perfect Canadian tuxedo- a monochromatic look is perfect, different washes, different thread counts, and even different rigidness.

Navy is the new black. A navy workout set, navy suede bag, navy silk shorts paired with a sweater, I could wear it every day? A monochromatic outfit has always been a go to for me, but blue is one of the easiest colors to pull this look off with. As a blonde, I tend to own a lot of blue, but I don't plan on stopping now. I can't have enough jean jackets, dark navy sweaters, so close to

a neutral, with a little bit of fun. We've seen the rise of Parke, Chelsea Parke curating the most stunning pieces of denim, but importantly the dark, dark, denim that we would most likely lean away from, is what you can catch in almost everybody's cart right now, or maybe even closet. They just recently dropped a brown corduroy jacket, and I'm definitely seeing a navy corduroy version in the near future. This November is all things texture, all things patterns, but especially all things denim-on-denim, did I say denim ??? If you haven't already, now is the perfect chance to raid our mom's closet of the perfect jean jacket. Don't fix it, it's not broke - The summer go-to of denim with a white tee, let transition into fall and opt for a navy tee with your denim!
