Influencer Brands: My Favorites and Why They’re So Special

Written By : Kitty Murphy

If there’s one thing about me, it’s that I absolutely love influencers. Even more than that, I love the brands that influencers create. In my eyes, there is something that differentiates an influencer brand from a random CEOs brand and don’t get me wrong, this could be because I feel more of a connection to them but I can’t help but notice the marketing with these brands. Since they have platforms and have worked with other brands, they get so good at marketing and when it comes to their own brands, it’s just chef's kiss.

There are so many influencer brands that come to my mind, but for the sake of this article, I will keep it to my top selections: Parke, Dairy Boy, EP Jewels, Shop Anna Katherine, and Djerf Avenue. Now let’s talk about it! I have a hard time being objective to Parke and EP Jewels because Chelsea (the owner of Parke) is from New Jersey and Evangelina (the owner of EP Jewels) is from New York so they are just super close to my heart. I actually went to the Parke popup in New York this past September and it was nothing short of fabulous. I hopped on the ferry into the city with my mom and we had ourselves a day! We got to talk to Chelsea and she was just the sweetest so it was even more amazing to see her brand really taking off. And I mean REALLY taking off because the line was quite literally two hours long.

I started watching Evangelina on YouTube during covid and I have loved her ever since, she has the coolest vibe. Shop Anna Katherine is another brand that I can’t help but love for so many reasons. For starters, the owner, Katie, is the kindest girl. As if that wasn’t enough, she is extremely talented too, her pieces are incredibly unique and they are all handmade, which is so impressive. Although I have never bought anything from Djerf Avenue, I have always wanted to. Matilda has created such a specific brand for herself and I love how her business emulates that. Everytime I go to the hair salon, I debate asking for ‘Matilda Djerf hair’ because it’s just that iconic.

Dairy Boy is slowly becoming one of my favorite brands because I really appreciate when influencers are able to make their lifestyle into their brand. Paige Lorenze has done just that and that is why her brand is so successful.

I think in order to have a good brand, you want your target demographic to associate your pieces with a specific lifestyle. It’s almost as if your customers believe that buying your pieces will help them achieve the same lifestyle. While this is extremely hard to do, when it is done well, it can take your brand to a whole new level. Of course, these brands have all mastered this which is why I just can’t get enough of them!
