The Ultimate Fall Bucket List

Written By : Grace Weidenhamer

You may think making a fall bucket list is a little cheesy, but I’m all about romanticizing each season and getting the most out of it. If you are having the late-summer blues, making a list of things you are excited about for the upcoming season can remind you of the magic of the fall, nostalgic memories, and how the changing of seasons brings a fresh start and new opportunities.

  1. Add autumn flare to your every day items. Switch out a few everyday home items for seasonal decor. Get out your fall candles, swap the throw blanket out, set out a few little pumpkins, or get crafty and DIY some fall decor.

  2. Visit a farm/pumpkin patch. Find a corn maze, pumpkin patch, or apple orchard to visit and have a cheesy fall day with cider, doughnuts, and basic fall outfits. There’s really nothing better.

  3. Bake a fall treat. Whether you make cinnamon roll dough from scratch or bake pre-made cookies, make your nightly sweet treat a little more festive. It’s the small things.

  4. At-home happy hour. Make a cheese board with autumn jams, seasonal fruits, and a bottle of wine or warm cocktail. Take your happy hour outside and enjoy the cool breeze and golden September sun.

  5. Halloween movie night. Speaks for itself. Put out a snack spread, light the candles, and watch a few Halloween classics.

  6. Fall picnic. Picture this: a plaid blanket under changing leaves, a pumpkin spice latte, and a good book.

  7. Find a fall festival. Get out on the town and attend a fall festival, fair, or event that screams fall fun!

  8. Host a murder mystery party. A unique Halloween party theme!

  9. Thrifting. Spend a day thrifting to refresh your fall wardrobe. Find an oversized vintage

sweater, home decor, or a lived-in pair of jeans.

  10. Find a cozy fall hobby. The colder weather means staying in and staying cozy. Find a

new book series to read or a puzzle to put together. Sit by the fire (or a YouTube video of a fire) with a cozy blanket, a cup of tea, and your new cozy hobby.
