The Top 5 TV Show Rewatches for This Fall (opinion list)

Written By : Annalisa Frumento

It’s falltime, which means pumpkin patches, Noah Kahan on repeat and even Sunday night football for some. But, it also definitely calls for some comfortable fall TV show rewatches. Here are my personal top five comfort watches to binge this fall.
  1. Twin Peaks (1990-1991+2017)
Twin Peaks is the mystery watch beloved by a super cult following. The show, directed by David Lynch, is eerie enough to classify as a good Halloween watch, and intense enough to be binge worthy! So cozy up with some tea and a blanket, and help solve the mystery of Laura Palmer.
  1. One Tree Hill (2003-2012)
Aside from the perfect fall soundtrack, One Tree Hill has a “fall semester” feel that other highschool-set  shows at the time had trouble encapsulating. The drama still feels fresh all of these years later, and the fall vibes are definitely strong, especially in season one. This show is perfect to watch with friends, and will keep you on your toes for sure.
  1. Teen Wolf (2011-2017)
On a sunny June day in 2011, Dylan O’Brien stole our tween hearts! This show is the perfect fall watch if you’re craving some supernatural adventures. What could be more suited for the weeks leading up to Halloween than watching Stiles Stilinski chase werewolves around his town?
  1. The Vampire Diaries (2009-2017)
Speaking of the supernatural… The Vampire Diaries mixes nostalgia with modern relevance while we follow Elena Gilbert through her supernatural journey. There’s a love triangle between brothers and not unlike one tree hill, season one is set in the fall time.
  1. Gilmore Girls (2000-2007)
I think we all see a bit of ourselves in Rory Gilmore. The vibe of Gilmore Girls is totally fall! Rory is academic and the scenery of a Connecticut fall/ winter is beautifully translated  on screen. The fashion, especially Rory’s sweaters, are famous in this show. Lorelai has an off-beat style and Rory does cozy-academia perfectly. With a hot cup of coffee, this show is perfect for relaxing after some studying or a long day.
Whether you want a spooky story or the comfort of jokes by Lorelai Gilmore, a cozy tv show rewatch can cure the weather-changing blues. There is no better feeling than being curled up with a blanket and a good show!
