What are We Wearing this Fall?

Is it too early to start preparing for fall? Stores are already putting out their Halloween decor and pumpkin-scented candles, so I’ll take it as my cue that fall is officially right around the corner!

I’m not usually a trend-predictor, but in my recent spurts of online shopping and Pinterest browsing, I’ve collected a few trends that I predict will make a statement this fall!

1. High-top sneakers

   Back in High School, I was a Chuck Taylors girl through and through, so I’m not mad about them making a comeback! I think we’ll see them paired with workwear, trousers, and long denim shorts. Here’s a few styles that I’m loving:

2. Cargo Skirts

3. Layers, layers, layers

   We’ve all seen the sheer or mesh bikini cover-ups that made a splash this summer, but I think we are going to carry that same energy into fall. Button-ups under sweaters, sweaters draped over jackets, scarves wrapped as belts, and more! Here’s some inspo for your fall wardrobe:

4. Denim Shorts

   I love the old-school feel of the long denim shorts trend! I think we can carry this look over to fall by adding a sweater, some tall boots, or a trench coat! Here’s your inspo:

5. Boat Shoes

We’re bringing preppy back with all things Sperry, although, I don’t think we’ll be seeing them with khaki shorts and nike crew socks. This is what I’m thinking:
